Day Four - Wednesday October 1st
Spend the Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux touring St. Peter’s Basilica, experiencing Mass at the Tomb of John Paul II, and being present for a general audience with Pope Francis.
Day Five - Thursday, October 2nd
On the Feast of the Guardian Angels, spend a quiet day in Rome participating in local celebrations and touring the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and John Lateran as well as the infamous Colosseum.
Day Six - Friday, October 3rd
Travel to Assisi and visit the famous Churches of San Damiano, Santa Maria Degli Angeli and Portiuncula. And, in the evening, enjoy a local procession in preparation for the feast of St. Francis.
Day Seven - Saturday, October 4th
Spend the feast of St. Francis immersing yourself in the life of the great Saint. You will spend time in the Basilica of St. Francis, the Church of St. Clare and the hermitage of St. Francis. As well as enjoying the local festivities celebrating this great Saint .
Day Eight - Sunday, October 5th
Enjoy a day of prayer, reflection and rest in the beautiful setting of Assisi.
